YRYO is Looking for
a Concertmaster

We are currently seeking a Concertmaster for the 2026–2027 season
of the York Region Youth Orchestra.

Audition Process
 

1st Round – Video Submission

Submit a video of one solo piece (YouTube link)

Deadline: September 15, 2026

Results announced: September 17, 2026

Email submission to: yryorche@gmail.com


2nd Round – Live Audition 

Date: Candidates will be invited with information.

Requirements:

✓2 Short pieces of Sight-reading

✓One movement from a concerto (with piano accompaniment)


Location ;
Richmond Hill United Church 


Successful candidates from the first round will be invited to the live audition.

You can upload your performance video by pasting the YouTube and other website or Google Drive link that you have saved online. Also, please send the sheet music of the piece you performed as a PDF file to yryorche@gmail.com.
